Daijiro Kato Tribute Book

This softback book was produced as a tribute to a great rider, sadly lost to the world after an accident in the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka in April 2003. He had won the All Japan 250cc championship before entering GPs. He won the 2001 250cc World Championship, and was 7th in the 500 series in 2002, becoming 'Rookie Of The Year', as well as being twice joint winner of the Suzuka 8-Hour race. Possibly the hardest one of Mick Walker's Riders Series of books to find these days, especially in the UK, this is done to Mick's usual depth and detail from cover to cover. Not always won against the best opposition, but highly respected by Mike Hailwood as one of the best he ever rode against. Good enough for most of us ! Bob McIntyre By Mick Walker

This quietly spoken Scot was respected by everyone in the sport, and by the fans. Possibly best known these days for his rides on the Italian Gilera machines, and of course the very first 100mph lap at the TT, but Bob spent most of his career riding British Machines.The sport lost Bob after a spill at Oulton Park in 1962. Sheene Machine Signed

Andrew Marriotts book on Barry Sheene, "The Sheene Machine" is not a rare book, but they are a tad rarer when signed by Barry.
