Chance Encounter by Robert Taylor Royal Netherlands Navy Dornier 24 sights the Japanese invasion fleet off Kuching, British Borneo, 23-12-1941. They also sighted patrolling Dutch submarine K-X1V on the surface. Upon receiving the pilot’s signal “enemy to the north east”, they quickly engaged, sinking 2 ships and damaging 2. One of the first Allied successes against the Japanese in WWII. Beautifully framed to FULL conservation spec. Signed by 5 Dutch veterans involved in the above. Price :- £325.00 Meet or collect. Here is a very hard to find print entitled, 'Confrontation At Beachy Head', showing a Spitfire of 92 Squadron and a German BF109E of 9/JG54 engaging in a head-on confrontation during the first week of September 1940. Eagles At Dawn-Comrades Edition-Robert Taylor 'Eagles At Dawn', a brilliantly colourful winter scene during the final phase of WWII on the Eastern Front. Glinting in the sub-zero early morning sunlight as fresh snow begins to fall, led by Erich Hartmann, the Me109Gs of I./JG53 scramble off the airstrip at Veszprem in Hungary, February 1945. 'Mike' joined 303 Sqn in 1942, scoring 18 aerial victories. Joined 302 later, but famously then 'loaned' himself to the 56th Fighter Group USAF under Francis Gabreski, hence the USAF markings. The Last Combat by Frank Wootton This wonderful RARE Frank Wootton print 'The Last Combat', depicts Adolf Galland in his last combat sortie; leading Me262s of JV44 on an interception of USAAF bombers high over Bavaria. After being charged with the formation of JV44 - ‘Squadron of Experts’ - Galland became the only General in history to lead a squadron into battle. Finishing with 104 air victories, all in the West, and was decorated with the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. Victory Over Gold - Nicolas Trudgian Quite a hard print to find these days, 'Victory Over Gold' depicts the morning of June 7, 1944. 12 JU88s appear over Gold Beach, ready to attack the heavily populated beachhead. The Spitfires of 401 Squadron head in to the pack.In the ensuing dogfight the Canadian pilots destroyed six of the JU88s, and the attack on the beach was averted. Flying Cloud by Robert Taylor Here's Robert's beautifully painted image showing the famous American clipper 'Flying Cloud' being loaded with tea after her 97 day voyage from London in May 1860. 'Flying Cloud' was famous for her record breaking runs, many of which stood for over 100 years. The scene captured by Robert's usual stunning talent ! Size :- 82 x 61 cms Price:- £95.00 +p+p	Aces Over Normandy by Anthony Saunders Showing the Mk.IXb Spitfires of 412 Squadron RCAF, one of the 55 Spitfire squadrons that took part in D-Day air operations between 5 and 7 June 1944. Tasked with providing cover, Anthony depicts the squadron on a final sweep to encompass the scene over Utah beach where men and armour from the U.S. VII Corps continue to pour ashore. In the foreground is the Spitfire of Don Laubman who would become one of Canada’s top-scoring pilots. Sturmstaffel 1-Vladimir Urbaneck A great image from the pencil of my good friend Vladimir, this time showing FW 190s of the 'Sturmstaffel 1' outside of the hangers, with a BMW 327 alongside. Main aircraft shown, 'No.7' is that of Austrian Major Erwin Bacsila, who was the first Sturmstaffel pilot to score a victory., downing a B17 in January 1944. Honour The Brave by Philip West A lovely unusual subject matter by Philip West, shows the RF-8G Crusader, which was the last Aircraft to land back on board the USS coral Sea after another post-strike photographic reconnaissance flight during the Vietnam Conflict. Size :- 71 x 32cms Price :- £69.00 +p+p	Canberras Over Cambridgeshire by Robert Taylor Robert's wonderful image shows Roland Beamont coming in to land at RAF Wyton over the Fenland countryside. Undeterred by 'Friday 13th', Wing Commander Beamont took off, in May 1949, in the Canberra prototype. So accomplished was this new jet bomber that by the end of the 1950's, no fewer than 41 RAF Squadrons flew the Canberra, and the training of crews in 16 countries had begun ! Last Word by James Dietz A photo cannot really do this stunning print by James Dietz justice. It's an absolute belter. He was to take part in many major battles during WWII, but was badly wounded on August 7, 1942, losing an eye. Despite this, he returned to fly again. In over 200 aerial combats, Sakai never lost a wingman. Credited with 64 confirmed aerial victories.
